What can you do for an eye that is to say contained by niggle?

My right eyelid is red and swollen. And my eyeball is itchy.What can you do for an eye that is to say contained by niggle?
Sounds like an allergy. My daughter started have the same entry every spring. Claritin, Benadryl, anything anti-allergen can help a moment or two. There are also eye-drops that contain antihistamine. Normally, allergies last for weeks. If your eye doesn't gain better, a doctor will prescribe you the medication.

Your eyes seems to enjoy some kind of infection.
You may want to consult a doctor for it.In the stingy time you can try to soothe it by using eye-mo or something similar.

It sounds like you hold a scratched cornea. It should get better at a snail`s pace in 3-4 days. It wouldn't hurt to dance to an optometrist. He/She might have some drops or emolument to speed it along. In the meantime, take what works best; aspirin, Aleve, Advil, or Tylenol. Good luck, hon. I know it hurts. :)
