What are these lumps beneath my skin on the final of my legs?

I've had these small lumps on the subsidise of my legs for more than a year now. They're merely pea-sized or smaller, but when I sit down they're painful sometimes. What should I do?What are these lumps beneath my skin on the final of my legs?
I would particularly go to the doctor to hold them checked out if they are painful even if they are solely painful sometimes..
