T-Cells are not normally measured within people who are not HIV+ or possessing some other type of immune dysfunction. All the HIV/AIDS propaganda have led family to believe that white blood cells = T Cells. Wrong.
T Cells, also specified as CD4 cells, are a focused subset of white blood cells, but not the lone subset.
I doubt it if your doctor ordered a T Cell count, but most likely ordered a white blood cell count.
A lofty white blood cell count could be any number of things. Literally. Numbers can fluctuate based on the time of hours of daylight. We here at the Yahoo message boards do not know your full medical history. Even if we did know your full medical history we could still not tell you what may be wrong.
Like I said, here are tonnes of conditions that may cause an elevated white blood cell count. Some are benign, some are not.
